Marco Murillo
Marco began his cooking career in Washington DC under the guidance of Chefs working with the Hilton Brothers. In 2015, after a stint at Chez Billy, he moved to New York where he continued cutting his teeth under Mads Refslund and Joe Yardley at ACME. From there he was part of the opening team at Agern in Grand Central terminal, furthering his knowledge of Nordic cuisine under Gunner Gislason. Marco then went on to a Sous Chef position at Genesis House learning from Chefs Park and Cho. Before joining the Kabin team, he reunited with Mads at Ilis in Greenpoint completing that full circle. He is very excited and happy stepping into the Sous Chef role here at Kabin and is looking forward to continued growth.
