Karl Erik

Karl has long been drawn to the world of hospitality and Nordic culture. Growing up, Karl learned from his mother who owned several restaurants, but his grandmother was the most formative teacher, instilling in him the simple yet refined elegance of Italian cooking. He is passionate about KABIN's food programme and in bringing a simple yet refined take of Nordic cuisine to NYC. In 2017, Karl spent his summer working in Norway, and since then, he has been back to Norway every summer, falling in love with Scandinavian culture. In his spare time, Karl is a committed member of several philanthropic organizations including serving as a Board Member of the Tourette Association of America.
